Lions Recruiting at All-American Trials
*
On June 10th, Lions old boy Mike Malone flies to Denver to recruit on behalf of the Village Lions at the National Collegiate All-Star Championship in nearby Boulder. The event features the 150 or so top college players in America, as the seven territorial unions plus the military under-23s do battle, with a Collegiate All-American squad selected at the end of the weekend. Malone will distribute Lions promotional gear to the players, while also addressing key positional needs for the club. The goal is to line up some young, elite players to come to New York and spend their playing careers with the Lions. The Lion Kings old boys will be funding the trip.
