The tournament is held on Randall’s Island, an island in New York’s East River. Randalls is undergoing a major renovation. However, the area and fields we will be using for the tournament are finished. These include fields #70-75, #82-85, and #90-91 on the southern tip of the Island.
There is significantly more Parking available this year. Parking will be on a first come, first served basis.
ON FOOT:
The 103rd St Foot Bridge is easily accessible by by exiting the #6 train on 103rd and Lexington, and walking east to the FDR Drive( about 4 blocks ). The footbridge is big and green. Its usually open from around 9am till dusk in the summer and warmer months.
BY CAR / TAXI:
From Manhattan: FDR Drive to the Triborough Bridge at East 125th Street. Stay to the left on the bridge for the exit to Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
From Long Island: Grand Central Parkway west to Triborough Bridge. After going over the bridge, and prior to paying the toll, stay to the right towards Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
From the North: New York State Thruway (I-87) south. I-87 will turn into the Major Deegan Expressway. Follow signs to the Triborough Bridge. When entering bridge stay to right and be ready for a sharp right turn towards Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
From the East: Route 95 west to the Bruckner Expressway (route 278) to the Triborough Bridge. When entering bridge stay to right and be ready for a sharp right turn towards Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
From the West: Take the George Washington Bridge to the Major Deegan Expressway (route 87) south to Triborough Bridge. When entering bridge stay to right and be ready for a sharp right turn towards Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
By Subway/Bus: Take the 4, 5, or 6 Lexington Ave. trains to 125th St., and then transfer on the NW corner of 125th St. and Lexington Ave. for the M35 bus to Randall’s Island. Get off at the first stop on the island. After exiting the bus, cross the street and follow the road around to your left to the northwest section of the island.
