With many in the community having a tough go of things career wise because of COVID-19 – and others just out of school looking to find an entry point for starting their careers – the Village Lions RFC are hosting a Virtual Career Fair series to help out.

Our next session will focus on Technology, Coding, and Data Science careers. Our panel of experts will cover topics such as breaking into the industry, critical skills, learning resources, and recent industry trends. The moderated panel will be followed by an open Q&A and networking session.

Technology roles including roles in software and web development and data science are some of the most in demand and high paying occupations in the US job market. The Bureau of Labor statistics estimates the demand for these jobs will continue to outpace the demand in other sectors well into the next decade, and have a median salary that is more than double the median salary for the rest of the US job market. Come and find out more about these lucrative and in demand careers.

Anyone is welcome! Please share with friends, collegiate or high school programs, and coworkers.
