Every donation goes to essential club costs and keeps rugby accessible to everyone who wants to play.
Why we need your help
In recent years, especially post-pandemic, the cost of operating a rugby club in New York City has risen significantly. This creates a challenge for the club, which strives to keep dues realistic and affordable for our players, and to keep Village Lions Rugby accessible to all who wish to join. Dues, sponsorships, and ticketed events alone are not enough to bridge the gap.
Impact of your donation
All donations to the club's general fund help us bridge the gap in administrative and club costs. These costs include securing permits at accessible and safe fields, referee payments, essential equipment, van rentals, and help us participate in competitive tournaments as we rise in our divisions.
Donations to the club are never appropriated towards non-essential costs, such as post-match socials, alcohol, or social tours.

Make a donation
Village Lions RFC is a 501(c)(3) organization, so donations are tax deductible.
Give once or set up a regular donation. The club receives the full amount: Zeffy charges the club nothing and instead asks you for a separate contribution of its own at checkout, which is optional and can be set to zero.
